Superfly Radio Show 002
Episode 2 of Superfly Radio - Feb 2025. After listening back to the first show we decided to change the timings from 60 mins to 90 mins. Part of this expansion was to end the show with more tunes from the Fly Mix, before leaving people with one more tune! We welcome French House Star Deborah Aime La Baggere to the venue in March, so the show features 3 of his finest productions - c’est magnifique! We’ve got a little underground gem and a VIP delivery from rising star Louis Millne who’s made his name rocking parties like Abode on a regular basis, he smashed it last time he played in the Garden of Dreams.
Our Time Machine feature takes us all the way back to 1999 and wow, what a year this was for dance music. So many stand out records that are still being played today. Basement Jaxx released their seminal album, Remedy. French producer Mr Oizo scores a smash hit with the help of a Levis advert and a yellow puppet known as Flat Eric. Legendary clubbing movie Human Traffic is released, launching the career of a certain Danny Dyer, oi oi! Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox and Sasha are the top 3 DJs in the world and Ibiza, and Manumission in particular, is the place to be and be seen, with or without clothes on! An era without phones, without social media and a heavy helping of chaos.
